First mention of the settlement occurred in 1375. Today's Grębów boasts a "Bar Piwny" = "Beer Bar", otherwise it is a quiet village with a library and power gym in the same building. Those tired of reading can go to the other room and lift weights before they go to the "Bar Piwny" for a pint.
Arms and flag adopted on April 28, 2009 (resolution # XXIII/187/09).
"Arms: on the red field a golden boat with a brick tower, cranelated.
Above it are a golden paddle and a spear, crossed.
Flag is a rectangular piece of cloth in the ratio 5:8 divided vertically
into two fields in colors red and yellow. On the red field (at the hoist)
the Arms are placed."
