Shield Argent, an eagle Sable, semy of plates and tongued Gules, placed upon an embattled wall Gules, flanked by two embattled towers of the same with windows Sable and port Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading "VILA RUIVA" in black upper case letters.
