Shield Or a cocked hat Gules between two wheat ears Vert in saltire, issuant from base a mount Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "CABAÇOS – MOIMENTA DA BEIRA".
Meaning:
The cocked hat is an attribute of St. Torcato Felix (died 719), who had been bishop in Braga. The grain ears are symbolising agriculture. The mount is a representation of Cabeça Gorda (= big/thick head), a local mountain.

Cabaços is one of the 13 communes of Moimenta da Beira Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 220 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 11,83 km².
