Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE PÊRA VELHA, ALDEIA DE NACOMBA E ARIZ".
Meaning:
All charges refer to the arms of the predecessors, the chestnut twigs to Aldeia de Nacomba Commune, the fountain to Pêra Velha Commune and the wall to Ariz Commune.

Pêra Velha, Aldeia de Nacomba e Ariz is one of the three communes of Moimenta da Beira Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 389 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 29,17 km².

Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "PÊRA VELHA".
Meaning:
Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael, the local patron saint. The fountain probably is a representation of the chapel of Our Lady of the Holy Fountain (Portuguese: Capela de Nossa Senhora da Fonta Santa).

Meaning:
The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, being the local patron. The base wavy is a representation of the Paiva River.
