Coat of arms

Shield Argent, a cork oak eradicated vert peeled and fruited Gules, in chief two windmill's wheels Sable rigged Azure, in base a plough Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORTIÇADAS DE LAVRE".
Meaning:
The cork oak is a canting element.

Shield Or, a bar wavy Azure charged with a barrulet wavy Argent, above an embattled tower Azure masoned Argent with port and windows Or, issuant from tower a demi-lion rampant Gules, flanked by two bunches consisting of one oak branch and two wheat ears, all Vert and tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "LAVRE".
