Shield Azure, an escallop Or, a chestnut twig with burrs Argent and nuts Gules, and a cogwheel Argent, all ordered 1:2; issuant from base wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet wavy Azure, a bridge Or masoned Sable. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "REBORDÕES - SANTO TIRSO".
Meaning:
The word "rebordões" means "wild chestnut[ tree]s", and the arms are therefore partly canting. The escallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
