The flag of Dalaman (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".
The emblem of the municipality features a plane.
The plane represents Dalaman Airport (website). Inaugurated in 1981 as an aerodrome, Dalaman was granted the status of airport by Decision No. 90 of 29 August 1989. Dalaman Airport is the 5th biggest airport of Türkiye. Its international terminal was inaugurated in 2006.
