The county flag is a cloth with a 2:3 aspect ratio. At the flagpole, on a vertical crimson stripe, there are three white cherry blossoms. On the remaining area of the cloth, on a blue field, there are three crossed white spears with their points up. The width of the crimson stripe is 1/3 of the flag's length; the conventional diameter of the cherry blossom is 1/4 of the cloth's width. Three spears symbolize three Cossack hundreds – Uman, Baban and Kochubeev, which are part of the Uman regiment. Cherry blossoms symbolize the beauty of nature and gardening. Blue symbolizes the decency and goodwill of local residents, crimson – bravery and courage.
