Description of the flag

A light yellow flag, with the town seal in the center containing a line drawing illustration of a yacht sailing in front of buildings, and a ribbon above stating FIRST CHURCH FIRST SCHOOLHOUSE and above that a plow. The town name and date are written on a ring around. The town name is written both above and below the seal. Winthrop is in Suffolk County.
