The new flag was probably adopted sometime between 2018 and 2017 since the photo used on the website comes from wikipedia, dated to 2017, and the first streetview showing the new flag was 2018.
The flag is a white field with the city seal in the center.

A variant flag has been used. Only one photo has been found. The only information I could get from City Clerk Dianh Surber is that the text at the bottom is likely "The Star of East Texas."
