Seal

[Mt. Jackson, Virginia] image located by David Sigley, 7 March 2023

The seal is a black ring with the town, state names, and the incorporation date on it. The centerpiece is made of some mountains with a river at the foothills of them. The Mountains represents the Appalachians, while the river represents the North Fork Shenandoah River. Extending from the river is a wooden bridge with a road going through it. This is the Meems Bottom Covered Bridge located nearby the town, and is a part of Wissler Rd. Next to the road is a green roofed gazebo with a black hand-cranked water pump. This resembles the gazebo outside of the Mount Jackson Town Hall. In the foreground is a bust of Andrew Jackson, The namesake of the town. The background of the seal is a light blue color, same to the one used on the flag.
