The Bay Spring Yacht Club is listed in Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, 1914, as organised and incorporated in 1908. It gives the club's station as West Barrington, R. I., and its home waters as Bullocks Cove and Narragansett Bay.
Its burgee is shown as an approximately 2:3 triangle bordered white with an equilateral red triangle, the apex of which is formed by a blue lozenge, bearing a white six-pointed star with one point pointing up. The lozenge flywise being about 3/4th of the depth of the hoist triangle, and hoistwise 2/3rd of that. All sides, except for those of the star, have white edges; where white meets white there's a narrow blue separator line.
The club house and facilities were lost in the hurricane of 21 September 1938, the first hurricane to hit the area in living memory. It would seem the club did not survive the disaster. As Barrington still had a yacht club left, it might be most members went over to the Barrington Yacht Club.
